On Friday, June 22, 2012 at approximately 12:00 am, 3rd district police responded to a call in the 900 block of 8th Street. Upon arrival, officers were directed to a 3rd floor bedroom where they found the victim, Michael J. Fox, suffering from multiple injuries to his head and face area. Preliminary investigations indicate the victim was beaten to death inside the 3rd floor bedroom.

The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $1,000 and the City of Philadelphia is posting up to $20,000 for any information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for this homicide.

 

Victim Michael Hagan

For information leading to the arrest & conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the murder of Michael Hagan

On Sunday, July 1, 2012 at approximately 3:30 am, police officers responded to a radio call in the 400 block of South 4th Street. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, later identified as Michael Hagan, 32, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to Jefferson Hospital where he later died. Preliminary investigation reveals that the victim was shot during a robbery.

The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $30,000 reward of which $5,000 was posted by New Jersey State Police NCO Union and the City of Philadelphia is posting up to $20,000 for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Michael Hagan.

The Citizens Crime Commission and the Northeast Philadelphia Police Detectives are seeking the public's help in identifying the perpetrator(s) of a series of robberies that have taken place at the WAWA located at 6400 Bustleton Avenue in the Northeast section of the city since October 1, 2013.

A $5,000 reward has been posted by the Wawa Corporation for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for these robberies.

Philadelphia Police and the Citizens Crime Commission are seeking the public’s help in apprehending the above perpetrators. Between 08/11/13 and 9/2/13 there were five reported robberies at various locations in East and Northeast Divisions with the same physical description of offenders. Three robberies are point of taser, one robbery point of gun and one robbery point of knife.

The above pictures are from Front and Girard El station shortly after a robbery at 100 W. Girard. The above persons took countermeasures to avoid detection by police by both changed their clothing while waiting for the train and then boarded the train separately. These individuals should be considered arm dangerous.

Investigators are trying to track down the person responsible for shooting 13-year-old Patricia Rainey. On Sunday, June 9, 2013 at approximately 4:00 p.m., Patricia was walking home from a neighborhood playground when shots were fired after an appartent between a group of young men near Norris and Croskey Streets in North Philadelphia. She was hit with a stray bullet and, as a result, had to have her left eye surgically removed.

The male pictured left is a person of interest in the shooting death of Marceles Jefferson, Jr. on Friday, July 1, 2011 in the 2900 block of North Judson Street (at Cambria Street). He was last seen entering a maroon colored Chevy Impala and fled Westbound on Cambria Street towards 24th Street. He is described as a black male with a dark complexion, 20-25 years of age, approximately 5'8" and 160 pounds.

The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $2,500 and the City of Philadelphia is posting another $20,000 totaling s $22,500 reward for any information that would lead to individual(s) responsible for the murder of Marceles Jefferson, Jr.

On Thursday, April 18th, 2013 at approximately 5:00 a.m.  3rd District Police responded to a radio call of a person with a weapon in the 400 block of Vollmer Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim identified as Don Ly, 68, lying in front of his residence with multiple stab wounds. He was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently pronounced dead.
 
Go onto YouTube and search under HOMICIDE 400 VOLLMER STREET to view a video clip of the suspect described as a light skinned black or possibly Hispanic male, approximately 5’7” to 5’10” with a thin build with a beard. He was last seen wearing the clothing included in the video with black Chuck Taylor sneakers.

On Friday, June 14, 2013, three males forcibly entered a home on the 3100 block of W. Gordon Street in the 22nd police district. The homeowner was pistol whipped and robbed of cash, an Apple MacBook (13 in)  and a Nook before fleeing the scene.
 
Help is needed in identifying the perpetrators who are described as follows: suspect 1 is 18-22 years old, 6' tall with a slim build and no facial hair. Suspect 2 is 18-22 years old, 5' 7" tall with a thick build wearing a hoodie and jeans. Suspect 3 is also 18-22 years old between 5' 7" - 5' 9" tall wearing a gray hoodie which may have hidden facial hair.

City of Philadelphia and the Citizens Crime Commission is seeking the public’s help that will lead to Stephen Casey’s killer(s).

On Wednesday September 26, 2012 at approximately 3 pm police responded to a call at Cobbs Creek Parkway & Cedar Ave for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Mr. Casey in a black Mercury Grand Marquis suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to H.U.P. where he was pronounced dead.

The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $26,000 reward, posted by the family and the City of Philadelphia is offering up to $20,000 for the information  that leads to the arrest and conviction of person(s) who committed this murder.

On Sunday, August 26, 2012, at approximately 2:14a.m., Richard Jeffords, 41, was crossing from the eastbound curb of Roosevelt Boulevard at Hartel Street when he was struck and killed by a 2004-2010 Chrysler 300 (unknown color) that was traveling north in the outer drive lanes.The vehicle fled the scene northbound on Roosevelt Boulevard.

As a result of the impact, the striking vehicle is missing the

driver's side view mirror and received possible damage to the hood, windshield and/or driver's side window(s).

The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $3,500 reward for any information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for this tragic and senseless crime.

On Monday, January 14, 2013, at 8:50am, five year-old Nailla Robinson was abducted from Bryant Elementary school, located at 6001 Cedar Avenue. She was taken out of the Hazel Street exit of the school, then left on 61st Street. She was then was taken to a house in the area, where her female abductor was joined by a male. The victim was recovered on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at 4:40am at 69th Street and Marshal Rd in Upper Darby, PA.

On Monday, October 10, 2011 at approximately 8:30 p.m., 39th District Police responded to a report of a person with a gun in the 4000 block of Nice Street. Upon arrival, responding officers found the victim, later identified as Francisco Rivera, 57, lying in the street next to a white Chevrolet convertible vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Upon medic arrival, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Crime Commission is administering a $6,000 reward and the City of Philadelphia has posted up to $20,000 for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the murder of Francisco Rivera.

On Tuesday, December 31st, 2011 at approximately 8:20p.m., 39th District Police Officers responded to a radio call of a report of a person with a gun in the 2700 block of Seltzer Street.  Upon arrival, officers found the victim, Lemuel Coleman, 23, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  He was transported to Temple University Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $1,000 reward and the City of Philadelphia is offering up to $20,000 for any information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the murder of Lemuel Coleman.

For information that would lead to the arrest & conviction of the person(s) responsible for the Wells Fargo Bank Robbery in Haverford.

The Crime Commission is seeking the public's assistance pertaining to a bank robbery that occurred at the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 402 W. Lancaster Ave, Haverford, Pa.  The robbery occurred on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at approximately 12:47PM. This robbery involved a large sum of money stolen from the banks.  The robber is described as a black male, 6'4" to 6'5" tall, athletic build, mid 20's in age, last seen wearing a black hoodie, grey sweatpants, sneakers, dark tinted ski mask, gloves, carrying a nickel plated semi automatic handgun.

Wells Fargo is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for any information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the individuals(s) who committed this crime.

On Saturday, April 30, 2011 at approximately 10:47pm, police responsed to a report of a shooting in the 2000 block of South 22nd Street.  Upon Arrival, police found the victim, later identified as Maurice Acey, lying on the sidewalk.  Acey was siffering from numerous gunshot wounds and was transpoted to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead.

On October 26, 2010 approximately 8:30p.m., Veronica Santiago was crossing at the intersection of 5th and York Streets when she was struck by a white Ford F150 pick-up truck with tinted windows.  The driver fled the scene going North on 5th Stgreet and then East on Cumberland.  Veronica was transported to Temple Hospital where she later died of her injuries.

On Friday, December 3, 2010, the 24th District Police responded to a radio call of a hospital case in the 3800 block of Glendale Street in Philadelphia.  Upon arrival, responding police found the victim, later identified as Allison Edwards.  She was pronounced dead at the scene. A post mortem examination concluded that her death was caused by strangulation.

On September 28, 2010 at approximately 10:52pm, 2nd District Police responded to a radio call for gunshots on the highway at 7200 Rupert Street. Upon arrival, they found the victim, Emilio Lopez lying unresponsive on the sidewalk. Mr. Lopez was taken to Franford Hospital where he was later pronounced dead and his manner of death ruled a homicide.

On Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at approximately 9:05pm, police from the 22nd District responded to a radio call of a person with a gun and shooting in the 1900 block of N 32nd Street in Philadelphia.  Arriving officers discovered the victim, Gary McClain, suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Saturday, January 30, 2011 at approximately 3:46pm, 12th District Police responded to a radio call of a hospital case in the 1000 block of 54th Street, Philadelphia.  Upon arrival, responding police found the victim, later identified as Samuel Pressley, Jr. 44 years old.  He ultimately succomb to the gunshot would he sistained.

On Sunday, May 15th 2011, Police found the body of Iris Tyson, 23, on a lot between Sydenham and Hicks Streets in South Philadelphia.  Iris has been reported missing by her parents on May 8, 2011 after failing to return home from the store.  The police have ruled her death a homicide by blunt force trauma to the head.

On Monday, September 20, 2010 at approximately 12:57am, 39th District Police were called to 301 W Queen Lane for gunshots. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of Chaz Young lying on the highway.  He later died from the gunshot wound he sustained.

On Monday, January 17th, 2011 at approximately 3:50am, Anthony Breslin was struck by a vehicle going southbound on Frankford Avenue as he crossed Frankford at Benson Street.  As Anthony was being aided by two women, a second vehicle drove toward them causing the two women to jump out of the way as the second vehicle struck Anthony a second time.  Neither vehicle stopped.

The Citizen's Crime Commission is seeking the publics help from anyone who witnessed this accident.  The Commission is also administering a $3,500 reward, $2,500 of which has been donated by AAA Mid-Atlanic, for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for this act of vehicular homicide.

For the attempted sexual assualt of jogger in the Wissahickon Park area.

In the early morning hours of April 11, 2011, a 17 year old female was jogging in the Wissahickon park area around Devils Pool & Cresheim Creek, when a male attempted to sexually assault her. The male is described as possibly Hispanic, between 5'8" to 5'11", with broad shoulders, muscular built & wearing a block hooded sweat shirt with dark pants.

Fatal Hit and Run Death of Liliana Acevedo

Liliana Acevedo was the victim of a fatal hit and run on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at approximately 10:50pm on the 200 Block of West Erie Avenue in the Juniata Section of the city.  The striking vehicle would have moderate to extensive damage on the front passenger's side, with damage to the front headlight cover.  The windshield may have been broken and the right side view mirror may be damaged or broken as well. 

The Family & friends posted $12,500 & AAA Mid Atlantic $2,500.  The Citizen's Crime Commission is administering a reward for any information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for this tragic and senseless crime.

Murder of Elaine Goldberg

On November 3, 2010 at approximately 3:18 pm, police from the 24th district responded to a call hospital case in a lot at 2835 Ruth Street.  Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered a body of a female, later identified as Elaine Goldberg.  Post mortem examination of her body concluded the cause of death to be strangulation and the manner of death determined to be homicide.

On September 26th, 2010 at approximately 11:40PM, police from the 15th District responded to a radio call with a person with a gun/male shot on the highway in the 4800 block of Tackawanna Street.  Upon arrival police observed two white males lying on the highway suffering from gunshot wounds.  One male, subsequently identified as Scott Sliwinski was pronounced dead at the scene.  The second victim, Andrew Sliwinski, Scott's brother was shot in the chest and remains in critical condition.

On May 28, 2010 at approximately 9:10 PM, Police from 12th District responded to a radio call of a shooting at 5418 Baltimore Ave. Arriving officers discovered  the victim, Armen Tsaturyan shot multiple times in the torso and head. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Murder of Martin Young

On March 23, 2010, at 6:19 pm, 12th District police responded to a radio call of a person with a gun in 5600 block of Pentridge Street. Upon arrival to that location, officers were informed that the victim, Martin Young, a 42 year old black male, had been transported to MercyHospital with multiple gunshot wounds. Upon police arrival at the hospital, he was pronounced dead at 6:47 p.m. 

Through their investigation, police have identified Montez Jones, a 30 year old, black male as the shooter. He fled the scene of the shooting in a dark colored vehicle.

0n 1-15-2010 at approximately 6:20pm located in the University City section of the city inside the Bridge theater.

Police are seeking the public help in trying to identify the shooter of a Drexel student and a off duty PA State Capital Police officer.  The shooter was describe as a Black Male 5’10 who was wearing a black jacket with black hoodie & blue jeans. Jerome Armstrong is wanted for the murder of Brian Way.

 On Saturday 6-13-09 around 7:21 pm., at 2600 N 18th street police responded to a call of gunshots and a shooting. Upon their arrival the found the victim Mr. Way with Multiple gunshot wounds. The family of the victim has posted a $3000 reward for the whereabouts and the arrest & conviction of Mr. Jerome Armstrong.

Murder of Peter Lyde Jr.

On Sunday, May 31, 2009 at approximately 1:20am Police arrived at Pleasures, a bar located at 2154 Ridge Avenue, and observed a male, later ID as Peter Lyde Jr.(above), lying on the floor inside the bar from a gunshot wound to his chest.  Mr. Lyde was taken to Hahnemann Hospital where is was pronounced dead at 1:49am.

On Friday, December 19, 2008, two women were sexually assaulted and robbed in an apartment in the 4400 block of Spruce Street by a man with a handgun. The women were blindfolded and gagged. Taken was IPOD’s, computers, cellphones, money and credit cards. This man is also suspect in at least one other similar case.

His description is: Black male, late 20’s, 190-200 lbs, 6’ to 6’2” tall, unshaven face with goatee, black short hair, medium build. He was wearing a black or dark blue jacket, blue jeans, tan shirt and tan Timberland boots. He is armed and dangerous.

The attacker stated that he had a gun and forced the female into a wooded lot at 800 N. Orkney Street where he raped and assaulted her. His description is: black male, late teens-early 20’s, 5’10” tall, 195 lbs., muscular build, short black hair, dark complexion, wearing white tank top, light colored jeans and white sneakers.

Robbery and Assault of a Nurse

On Monday, June 25, 2007 at approximately 2:35PM, a nurse making a home visit in the 5900 block of Hutchinson Street was brutally assaulted and robbed by a black male.  His description is:  black male, 30’s, muscular build, medium brown complexion, short hair, 200 lbs, burnt orange and gray shirt and dark baseball cap turned backwards. He fled on a gray or silver mountain bike with black lettering on the crossbar. The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $11,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of this man. $9,000 of the reward has been posted by Health Partners, Inc., $1,000 by the Pennsylvania Home Care Association and $1,000 by the Visiting Nurses Association.

 

MURDER OF RANSFORD REDLEY

On April 15, 2007, Ransford Redley, 49 years old, was found with a gunshot wound of the chest at 59th Street and Nassau Road in Philadelphia. He died as a result of his injury.The Citizens Crime Commission is seeking information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for his death.

On Friday, February 2, 2007, 82 year old Julia Kay was attacked in her doorway and was found badly beaten inside her residence in the 2100 block of South Iseminger Street. She later died of her wounds.

There is no description of the perpetrator other than he was wearing a coat with several white patches on it. This surveillance photo is from when the suspect was following Ms. Kay through a drug store. He appears to be dark complected, wearing a jacket with patches on chest and arms, a dark skull cap, dark pants and shoes.

On January 13, 2007, the Henry Avenue Pharmacy at 5830 Henry Avenue was robbed point of gun by 2 black males and 1 white male. The clerk was shot in the hand during the robbery. There is no description of the men.

 The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $15,000 reward that will be paid when the 3 males are convicted of the crime.

The arrest of each male will result in a $1,000 reward at their time of arrest, totaling $18,000.

Hit & Run Murder of Sister Paul Mercedes Perreca

On Monday, January 9, 2006 at approximately 6:30AM, Sister Paul Mercedes Perreca was struck by a vehicle while crossing Cottman Avenue near Hawthorne Street in the northeast section of Philadelphia. The driver left the scene, and the victim later died of her injuries.

The striking vehicle is described as a late model Ford F-100 pickup truck painted maroon with silver trim, and has a Pennsylvania license plate. The truck should have heavy front end damage and a broken headlight.

Danille Imbo & Richard Petrone Jr. were last seen on Saturday, February 19th 2005 in the 400 block of South Street in Philadelphia, PA.  They were traveling in a 2001 Dodge pickup truck painted black with PA tag # YFH2319.  The truck has a NASCAR #99 decal on the rear window.  They have not been seen since that time.

The driver left the scene.  The car that struck her is described as a tan Chevrolet sedan, driven by a black female wearing a burgundy top and a grey hat and had a pony tail.  The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $2,500 reward pledged by AAA Mid-Atlantic for the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for her death.

On Monday, May 8, 2006 a black male entered a female’s apartment on the 1300 block of Locust Street by identifying himself as an FBI agent. He then demanded money and attempted to sexually assault the female. He is described as a black male, middle 20’s, 170-180 lbs., 6’ tall, thin build, wearing a white or gray T-shirt, blue jeans, and is clean shaven.

 The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $5,000 reward contributed by Chancellor Properties.

On Thursday, March 16, 2006, a TastyKake truck driver was shot and robbed in the area of 62nd  & Vine Streets.

 The driver was robbed by 2 black males, each 5’4” to 5’6”, wearing black hoodies and dark pants, and are about 15 years old.

The alleged shooter has been captured; however, his accomplice is still at large. A reward is still available for the arrest of his accomplice.
